June 22, 2010

The school year concludes! What a wonderful year we have shared. Together we have celebrated many happy occasions, holydays, holidays, birthdays, graduations, etc. We have played together and prayed together.

School e-mail system

Because our new system is in place this will become our new avenue for communications during the summer and the school year. This last message is being sent to all families who are on the 2009-2010 list. During the summer we will update the list, deleting graduates, students who will be attending new schools and adding new families.

Summer Mailing

The usual mailing sent during the summer will be done through this e-mail. Remember to check your email during the last week of July and the first week of August.

Items Being Sent Home

Along with Report Cards you should receive the following:

• A letter from Father Raaser about our fundraising.

• Summer school information if attendance has been recommended or required.

• TACHS information for 7th Grade students. (Test for Admission to Catholic High Schools). Mrs. Reda is offering a TACHS Prep course after school in the fall.

Applications, Welcome to New Families, and Open House

Please invite anyone interested in an application for any grade to call the office during the summer for more information. Application information is available on our web-site and at the Rectory.

We will host a Welcome Event for our new families on the evening of Wednesday, August 25th and an Open House for new applicants on Thursday, August 26th.

Summer Office Hours

Our school office will be closed at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 22nd and will reopen on Monday June 28th. During the summer office hours will be 9:00 am. – 12 noon. The office will also close for a few weeks in August and reopen on Monday, August 23rd. We’ll send home more specific dates next week.
