“ICS is the Best!” During Catholic Schools Week our students wrote thank you notes to all those who work to make our Catholic school a wonderful place to learn, play, grow and pray. These notes were first displayed throughout the school then presented to clergy, parents, grandparents, teacher assistants, nursing, office, kitchen and maintenance staff, bus drivers, and class parents. During our Catholic Schools Week Liturgy students surprised their teachers with special flowers to thank them for their love and hard work. It truly takes a village to raise a child.

Graduates Past and Future
Read and enjoy these comments from alumni and our present students. ICS is a wonderful place to make and keep special memories and friends.

On Ash Wednesday all classes attended a Lenten Service. Students and families received a cross of ashes on their foreheads as a reminder that we are not perfect. During Lent we try to become better people. We try to do good things for others and we tell others that we are sorry for anything we may have done to hurt them. In this way we prepare for Easter when we will celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus.

Students and parents attend the Catholic Schools rally with New York State Legislators regarding cuts in funding to our schools on Thursday, January 28 at Stepinac High School. For more information, please log on to http://www.nyscatholic.org

During Catholic Schools Week the entire student body along with Faculty and staff joined for a picture to form an arrow. We are calling attention to the sign announcing the construction of our new parish gymnasium. Excitement heightens as we are drawing ever nearer to announcing ground breaking! Once again the children have taken home coin banks to continue their collection of loose change to be found at home, between the couch cushions, in their pockets, or yours! Thank you for helping them in this campaign.
