ICS values the importance of the fine arts and our curriculum reflects this at every grade level. Students in all grades attend music class at least once a week where they not only sing songs and learn the basics of music, but they learn how to appreciate music of different genres. Students also have the option of participating in music-based after-school activities such as a bell choir and the ICS Glee Club.

Students in grades Kindergarten through grade eight attend art once a week where they gain a firm foundation in different art techniques such as drawing, painting, sculpting, and pottery. ICS is proud to have a state-of-the-art art studio complete with the tools to enable students to work with these different types of media. Students are also offered the option of participating in after-school art programs. An art auction featuring some student works is held every two years and an art show of student work is held at the end of each school year.
